Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi, meet and assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Night stay in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Old & New Delhi


A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India.


MoAn extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, The President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi/Corbett: O/N The Corbett Hideaway

morning after breakfast drive to Corbett. Arrive Corbett and check-in at the hotel. After welcome drinks and short briefing upon your stay at different lodges. After Lunch, go on afternoon jungle trekking. In evening, we present a Folk Show, Orientation talk, Question & Answer session on tour, followed by Slide show on Flora & Fauna of jungle area you would visit during Elephant Safari.

Day 04: Corbett: O/N Lohachaur Forest Rest House

After breakfast, depart by Jeep to Durga Devi gate of Corbett Tiger Reserve for starting Elephant Safari and trek. The Himalayan foothills with lush Sub Tropical forests and the bountiful Flora & fauna; stand as a tribute to nature lover and photographer of the wild. Change seats with Mahout and experience driving an Elephant. Also, one can go for catching the "Mighty Mahseer" - the popular fresh water fighting fish, on Ramganga River. Fishing is allowed on "catch and release" system. Tackle, equipment and expertise provided (on advance notice). Afternoon, lunch served on banks of the Ramganga river, and then continue with Elephant Safari. Arrive at Lohachaur Forest House for a cup of tea for refreshing up after leisure riding. Lohachaur Forest House was built in British bungalow style, in 1899. After Wash & Rest - discuss next day’s program over sumptuous dinner. Overnight stay at Lohachaur Forest House or Camp.

Day 05: Corbett; O/N Kanda Forest Rest House

After breakfast, begin full day on Elephant back - learning the mysteries of the wonderful animals. The Bird life here in this lower altitude wilderness is rich. The morning sun seems to be setting hills on fire with rich vibrant hues. The rough rocky terrain and land formations are magnificent. Enjoy lunch beside Mandal River, and commence with Elephant Safari, meandering alongside the Mandal River, observing terraced farms. Here, one gets the opportunity of studying the Kumaon culture and interact with villagers, who are simple and humble. Late afternoon, leave our Elephant and continue by 4WD Jeep to Kanda FRH, built in British bungalow style, for overnight stay. Kanda is park’s highest point, located at an altitude of 1020 m, from where the view of grassland areas of Dhikala and Ramganga valley are mesmerizing. It was in this area Jim Corbett shot the Kanda man-eater. After wash and brief rest join Naturalist for discussion and Dinner. Overnight Stay at Kanda Forest Rest House or Camp.

Day 06: Corbett; O/N Dhikala Forest Rest House

Depart for Jeep Safari into Corbett National Park - with its diversified topography, Flora & Fauna, beauty of meandering Ramganga River, and natural splendor of landscapes, this Park is a valuable heritage. The bird life in the area is varied and the chances of seeing Ghoral / Mountain goat and Leopard are high. Drive down to Ramganga River, for looking for long snouted, fish eating Marsh Crocodiles and Gharial. The possibility of seeing 05 species of Pallas, Kingfishers, and Himalayan Greyheaded Fishing Eagles, Crested Serpent Eagle, Osprey, and of course the Mammalia, the Safari is extremely magical. Arrival at Dhikala, where the natural setting is overwhelming and the location is scenic. Lunch/rest/relax while enjoying the panoramic view of grassland area and its plentiful wildlife. The elephant ride from Dhikala renders an opportunity of closely viewing the wildlife. Overnight stay at Dhikala FRH

Day 07: O/N the Corbett Hideaway

Early morning Elephant ride from Dhikala imparts an exclusive opportunity of observing wildlife in its natural habitat. From rising sun’s first ray to evening’s deepest glow, the landscape untangles the primitive wild’s untaught harmony. The morning elephant ride in pollution free environment builds up the appetite of enjoying a sumptuous breakfast. After breakfast, a guided walk to a watchtower located overlooking the Ramganga River and the water hole gives us an opportunity of observing wildlife. Corbett is a haven for birdwatcher, and the watchtowers are the finest for this purpose. After checking out, depart on Jeep Safari by lower jungle track alongside the Ramganga river, which imparts a great opportunity to view game, especially Tigers in their natural habitat. This exhilarating drive through the unforgettable and sylvan beauty of Khinanauli range, imparts Wildlife viewing in plenty. Continue the Jeep safari via stately dense Sal Forest enjoying unparalleled beauty of luscious green Flora. Late evening, arrive at Corbett Hideaway - enjoy comfort of modern shower and toilet facilities, and share your experience. Bonfire and dinner. Overnight at The Corbett Hideaway.

Day 08: Corbett- Delhi (By road)

After a comfortable night’s rest, enjoy lavish breakfast and depart for Delhi. Upon arrival move into hotel. Rest of time free for last minute shopping. Overnight at Delhi.

Day 09: Departure

Morning after breakfast departure transfer to airport board the flight for onward journery.Tour ends with sweet memories...
