Day 01: Arrival at Delhi

Arrive at Delhi, meet and assistance at the airport / railway station and transfer to the hotel. Night stay at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Old & New Delhi

OLD DELHI

A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India.

NEW DELHI

An extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, and the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay at Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi-Mandawa (By Surface)

After breakfast drive to Mandawa. Arrive Mandawa and check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for city sightseeing tour of Mandawa, founded 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants has beautiful frescoes, Havelis and mansions. Mandawa castle one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820 ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum . Night stay at Mandawa.

Day 04: Mandawa-Bikaner (By Surface)

Morning after breakfast drive to Bikaner. Arrive Bikaner and check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for city sightseeing tour of Bikaner. Bikaner is named after its founder Rao Bika Ji in 1488. But long before this, the city was trade center on the caravan routes from Africa and West Asia. Bikaner's dominant features are rippling sands and abundant sunshine. The city stands on an elevation, enclosed by a 7 Kms wall, which can be entered from 5 gates. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. Also visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum, and Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke Rat temple. Night stay at Bikaner.

Day 05: Bikaner-Gajner-Jaisalmer (By Surface)

After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer on the way visiting Gajner Palace, Gajner Palace is a Grand Heritage Palace, spread over 6000 acres. Gajner Palace was built on the banks of Gajner Lake by Sir Ganga Singhji, one of the greatest Maharajas of Bikaner, in the early decades of the twentieth century. Gajner Palace was used as a hunting resort by the former Maharajas and visiting British dignitaries during the days of the Raj. The red sandstone palace is distinguished for its architectural grandeur and luxuriously appointed suites and rooms. The greenery at Gajner Palace, lawns and the chirping of birds and peacocks make it a truly memorable destination for leisure and corporate travellers. After sightseeing continue drive to Jaisalmer. Arrive Jaisalmer and check-in at the hotel. Night stay at Jaisalmer.

Day 06: Jaisalmer

After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer visiting the burnished sandstone Jaisalmer, Throbbing in the heart of the Thar, is an intricately molded wonderland in place of a barren land, today stands a city of gilded magic. The origins of Jaisalmer go back to the 12th century, when Rawal Jaisal abandoned his old fort at Ludarwa and laid the foundation of a new city. Visit the magnificent fort, the Patwon Ki Haveli (Mansion) and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, with their carved balconies and brackets, which are supreme examples of the art. Evening enjoy camel ride at SAND DUNES. Night stay at Jaisalmer.

Day 07: Jaisalmer-Jodhpur (By Surface)

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. Arrive Jodhpur and check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for city sightseeing tour of Prince Jodha founded city Jodhpur - the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, in 1459. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. Night stay at Jodhpur.

Day 08: Jodhpur-Ranakpur (By Surface)

After breakfast drive to Ranakpur. Arrive Ranakpur and check-in at the hotel. Later visit world famous Jain Temple Ranakpur. The exceptionally beautiful Ranakpur complex is one of the largest and most important Jain temple in India. The main temple is the Chaumukha Temple, or Four Faced Temple, dedicated to Adhinath. Built in 1439, this huge, superbly crafted and well-kept marble temple has 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars, no two alike. Night stay at Ranakpur.

Day 09: Ranakpur-Udaipur (By Surface)

After breakfast drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Night stay at Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur

After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen's resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Night stay at Udaipur.

Day 11: Udaipur – Chittorgarh –Bundi (By Surface)

After breakfast drive to Bundi en-route visit Chittorgarh. The magnificent 7th century Chittorgarh Fort. On way to the fort you can see two chhatris or memorials of Jaimal and Kalla marking the spots where they fell while defending the fort during the siege of 1568. Other attractions inside the fort include Vijay Stambh (Tower of Victory) and the Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame). The ruins of Rana Kumbha's Palace, Padmini's Palace, Kalika Mata Temple, Government Museum. After visiting continue drive to Bundi. Arrive Bundi and check-in at the hotel. Night stay at Bundi.

Day 12: Bundi-Jaipur (By Surface)

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and visit Bundi ,the Taragarh Fort built in 1354 A.D., Bundi Palace, Chhattar Mahal, Ratan Daulat, Chaitrashala, Nawal Sagar lake, Raniji-ki-Baori (Step well), Sukh Mahal, Phool Sagar and eighty four pillared cenotaph. After visiting continue drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. Night stay at Jaipur.

Day 13: Jaipur

Morning after breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort

AMBER FORT PALACE

Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.

CITY PALACE

A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

JANTAR MANTAR

This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

HAWA MAHAL

The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Night stay at Jaipur.

Day 14: Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra (By Surface)

Morning after breakfast drive to Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri , a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town” which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. After visiting continue drive to Agra. Arrive Agra and check-in hotel. Night stay at Agra.

Day 15: Agra - Delhi & Departure

Morning after breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Agra; the home of the immortal Taj Mahal, the inimitable poem in white marble is the first expression of love of an Emperor Shahjahan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal. This great monument was completed in 1653 AD. Agra Fort, the imposing structure on the banks of the river Yamuna is replete with priceless examples of craftsmanship in the Mughal period, including the beautiful pearl Mosque; it was designed and built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. After sightseeing continue drive to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and departure transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward journey. Tour ends with sweets memories…
