After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Kolkata - Birla Planetarium, drive past the Fort Williams, Victoria Memorial the Howrah Bridge, the Old Court House Street and the Secretariat Building. Overnight stay in Kolkata.
Morning after breakfast transfer to Sonakhali Jetty via beautiful countryside, rural bazaar with stopovers at the local Fishermen's village. Arrival at Sonakhali and embark upon motorized boat. Briefing and interpretation by local guide cum naturalist - followed by 2 hours impressive cruise through river Hogol, Drugaduani, Gomor, and Gumdi. Stopover at Gosaba (Optional) - one of the Sunderbans' human settlements for visiting the house of Sir Danniel Hamilton, who was a Scottish banker and initiated the first co-operative movement of India from here. Arrival at Bali Island and move into Sunderbans Jungle Camp. Lunch at Camp, followed by 3 hours birding and game cruise to Sudhanyakhali watch tower via creeks and canals. Return to Camp in evening. Overnight stay at the Camp.
Morning after breakfast full day came cruise and birding tour to Netidhopani watch tower (subject to weather permitting the same) including Crab catching and fishing expeditions from the fragile country boats. Evening return to Camp and experience the local rural theatre performed by the villagers. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp.
After having breakfast proceed for a guided village walk, wherein participants are encouraged for having a close interaction and interesting encounters with local villagers and their lifestyle, local cuisines and craft, indigenous farming and household tools/equipments used by villagers. It's followed by a guided cruise through manually oared country boat and a small short cruise to Do Banki watch tower for enjoying a small canopy walk. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the Camp.
Morning after breakfast transfer to Sonakhali by boat - arrival at Kolkata and check-in at the hotel. Rest day at leisure. Overnight stay in Kolkata.
Morning after breakfast departure transfer to airport board to the flight for onward journey. Tour ends with sweet memories…
