Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting Old & New Delhi

OLD DELHI

A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India.

NEW DELHI

MoAn extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, The President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra (By Road)

Morning after breakfast drive to Agra. Arrive Agra and check-in at hotel. After proceed for city sightseeing tour of Agra visiting the world famous Taj Mahal, Built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit Agra Fort, containing the pearl mosque - the rusty and majestic red sandstone fort of Agra stands on the bank of river Yamuna and Emperor Akbar started the construction in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Khas (Hall of Private Audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend on ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded peacock throne and met foreign ambassador and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 04: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Ranthambhore (By Road)

Morning after breakfast drive to Ranthambhore-popular for wildlife sanctuary, said to have India's friendliest Tigers and even considered as best place in world for photographing the tiger in its natural habitat. It's also an excellent place for bird watching enroute visit to Fatehpur Sikri - completely preserved red sandstone "ghost town" an estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and was deserted due to water supply failure. Arrival at Ranthambhore & move to hotel. Overnight stay in Ranthambhore.

Day 05: Ranthambhore

Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for city sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting.

Day 06: Ranthambhore - Jaipur (By Road)

Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check-in at the hotel. Later proceed for city sightseeing tour of Jaipur visiting.

CITY PALACE

A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

JANTAR MANTAR

This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 07: Jaipur

After breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort.

AMBER FORT PALACE

Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression.

HAWA MAHAL

The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

BIRLA TEMPLE

Situated in the south of Jaipur, Laxmi Narayan Temple is one of the many such temples built by wealthy Birla family in India, thus it is also known as Birla Mandir. The temple is a great reminder of the secular traditions India has shown over the centuries. The temple has been constructed in white marble and has three domes, each portraying the different approaches to religion. The temple is situated at the foot of Moti Doongri Fort, converted as a small palace by Ram Singh II for his wife Gayatri Devi. After sightseeing continue drive to Ranthambore. Arrive Ranthambore and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Ranthambore.

Day 08: Jaipur - Udaipur (By Road)

Morning after breakfast drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 09: Udaipur

Morning after breakfast proceed for city sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The city was built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and is said to be the most romantic spot on continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari ( Queen's resort for their friends), the City Palace museum, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir ( Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Also enjoy Boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur - Delhi (flight) and Departure

Morning after breakfast departure transfer to airport for boarding the flight for Delhi. On arrival departure transfer to airport for catching flight for onward journery. Tour ends with sweet memories.
